Gaston Moutardier was born in Comines in 1889. In 1940 during the German bombardments and of the rout, as a director of the Postal Service for the department of the Somme, he reorganizes then positions back the mail service. Resisting whole share, he could provide significant information on the enemy telephone installations as well as the site of the slopes of the V1 rockets. He will also develop a plan of sabotage of the cables. Unfortunately, he is arrested on March 8, 1944. In spite of the maltreatment, he will not deliver any secrecy on the organization Résistance P.T.T. for the department of the Somme. Condemned to died in July, he is put to death immediately in Amiens.
