THE CYCLE RACE
PARIS-ROUBAIX
Created in 1896 by Théo Vienna and Maurice Perez, the cycle race Paris-Roubaix is still the queen of traditional races where the hell of North prevails, according to current expressions' which qualify it and which make that it is the most popular race after the Turn of France. Borrowing long sections of roads from the disjoined and bevelled paving stones of the North of France, this characteristic makes of it a single and dreaded but so coveted by the great champions, who dream one day to register their name with the prestigious prize list, race. |
