Born in Arras in 1893 and died in Paris in 1983, Louise Weiss was one of the very rare women to be aggregate in France in August 1914, which her father did not like. Consequently, intellectual and journalist, Louise Weiss was not only one emblematic figure of feminism and of lutes for the voting rights of the women, she also took part in the cause of the constitution of Europe and the European Parliament which became a reality on July 17, 1979.
